Hypnotherapy for a brighter future
Hypnotherapy
is best described as a state of relaxation combined with
visualization as a form of therapy for treating symptoms or
conditions like anxiety, depression, sexual problems or any
psychological conditions.
At the Bolton Hypnotherapy Clinic there are two different types
of therapies that are being used which are described below and
will be described in more detail in your initial consultation.
Suggestion Therapy
Suggestion therapy as its name implies uses positive worded suggestion on the problem. this would go something like this. You will find it easy to stop smoking you will take a lot of pride in yourself that you have stopped smoking so easily etc Using visualisation and positive hypnotic suggestion to treat so-called minor conditions such as nail biting, stopping smoking, weight loss, interview nerves, fear of flying, exam nerves etc.
Hypno-analysis (analytical hypnotherapy)
Hypnoanalysis fast effective treatment
Analytical
Hypnoanalysis is not counseling or psychotherapy these types of therapy use intellect on the problem or try to smooth over the symptoms in some way. every psychological problem has its own original root cause. These root causes have there origins in childhood and are caused by bottled up emotions that are locked away from the conscious mind. No amount of talking or intellect can get to these bottled up emotions as they are locked away in the subconscious mind.
Hypnoanalysis can get to the root cause by using hypnosis to tap into the subconscious mind were the true cause lies. Then using free association releasing memories and bottled up emotions from the past that are causing the symptoms now, whether it be a phobias, depression anxiety OCD sexual problems and so on.
Hypnoanalysis is the fasted most effect treatment in the would achieving remarkable lasting results in as little as 10 to 12 weeks. Hypnoanalysis brings you to a moment of surprising and elaborating enlightenment bringing you a complete lasting release by finding and releasing the root cause of your problem. So please do not suffer in silence as many people do in this day and age, there is no reason anyone should but up with their symptoms as long as they are willing to devote time effort and money.
If you have truly made that decision for change as l guess you have or you would not be reading this, then I'm confident that we can find a solution to your problem.
"Do you really want to make a change?" don't suffer any more and take that first step today, pick up the phone and see what changes you can make in your life today.

Valerie’s ‘new lease of life’ after
hypnotherapy
7:00am Sunday 1st November 2009
Success story: Hypnotherapist Philip Monaghan with
Valerie Yates, from Horwich
DEPRESSION is a difficult thing to have to live with and the
recession is not making things any easier.
But help is on hand in the form of hypnotherapist Philip Monaghan,
who believes all current problems have a root cause that needs
treating before the patient can recover.
That means, says Mr Monaghan, that although the patient believes,
for instance, the economic crisis is causing their depression, it
will actually be something that happened much further back, perhaps
even in their childhood.
Apparently, we all carry these events around with us but have put
them, literally, to the back of our minds.
But when something stressful comes along — the death of a relative,
a job loss or marriage break-up — those past events come to the
surface and bring on the depression.
What Mr Monaghan does is allow the patient to bring those
locked-away past experiences back into their conscious mind, deal
with them and move on.
For depression and social anxiety there is no suggestion therapy
involved. People are not told how to deal with it, instead they are
given the tools to work it out for themselves.
It may sound complicated, but it works, and Valerie Yates is proof
of that.
Valerie, aged 51, from Horwich, was suffering from depression and
anxiety until she met Mr Monaghan.
She would not have been able to face a camera or chat with a
journalist before she discovered hynotherapy. The idea would have
filled her with dread.
Even going out shopping with her daughter was an ordeal, while
parties and family occasions were a nightmare.
Now Valerie has a new lease of life, having worked through her
anxiety and depression through the hypnotherapy.
She finally managed to talk about something that happened to her as
a small child — although she is reluctant to reveal what that was —
and rid herself of the problems that were blighting her life.
Valerie had tried different treatments before opting to give
hypnotherapy a try.
She said: “I can enjoy going shopping with my daughter, which is
something I used to endure.”
It has changed Valerie’s life for the better and that of husband,
Garry, aged 48, and children, Alex, aged 18 and Collette, aged 15.
This Christmas will be the first one the family has properly enjoyed
in years.
To Mr Monaghan it all makes perfect sense. He said: “As children,
things happen to us and we store them away. It’s a coping mechanism
and it works really well.
“But they can cause us problems when something else happens in our
life and that then becomes the trigger for the depression or
anxiety.
“It can be something traumatic that has happened or something as
simple as dropping an ice cream. To a child that is a terrible event
and it can stay locked away for years.”
Mr Monaghan knows the treatment works as he was treated for
depression by Nigel Isherwood, from who he took over at the practice
in St George’s Road, Bolton.
He treats a wide range of problems and phobias some of which can
solved in one session, using different therapies, including smoking
cessation.

| Depression |
| Dear Philip More than 20 years ago l was diagnosed by a doctor with clinical depression. Since then I have taken three deferent types of antidepressants on three separate occasions, counseling and psychotherapy none of which had any long term effects I became withdrawn, had anxiety attacks and did not function well on a social level, but the worst thing for me was the tiredness all the time.
I decided I had to do something, found your number, and gave you a call. It was the best thing I have ever done. I started the twelve weeks sessions, skeptical at first, but as the weeks went by I got a little better and my energy levels increased. By week ten I was feeing fantastic and people were starting to notice a difference
Thank to you I have my life back, I no longer walk with my head down, my anxiety attacks has gone and I can now go out and do thing's I want to do
Thank you so much Philip

| Social Phobia |

Dear Philip Where can I start well lets start with how I felt before I took the hypnotherapy sessions. Before I came to the sessions I felt nervous in busy places and around people I hardly or didn’t know and was always unsure about doing different things, as I felt awkward and uneasy a feeling as if everyone was looking at me. Because of this I would feel as though I was walking wrong or felt very stiff as I walked in the street or anywhere I felt uncomfortable.
The change I have definitely noticed in myself is great, I am now more confident less shy or reserved towards people, eager to got out busy places and I actually enjoy shopping now even in busy places like the Trafford centre.
Last of all I can’t remember the last time I felt glum or down I am actually trying to remember what it felt like??????? Which I can’t to be honest
Thanks Phil
